processing promotions for our SS classes. I found on Shelby’s online support how to promote whole classes [i.e. 1st graders to 2nd grade] and how to promote individuals [i.e. 6th graders to JRHS, while keeping the 5th graders in the 5th & 6th grade class].

more working on the profile project; using choir profiles as my learning tool. im using the below document, from Shelby-Online-Support, as my guide.

Notes -
1)all the profiles have a Start Date of 01.05.2006
2)the ppl still in choir have no End Date
3)the End Dates of ppl that quit choir vary btwn 03.01.2006 - 06.30.2006

met w/ CARE pastor concerning pew caller pages. i have been tracking the pew caller mailings by creating a document, each time i mail the lists, that shows: who is mailed to, what pages each person receives, when it was mailed, and when/if we receive the paperwork back.

Just finished the ‘Monday’ tasks. Skipped the pew callers sheets this week, as I havnt heard back from the pew callers for awhile.
This brings up an issue of creating procedures for returning paperwork - CARE, CONNECTs, Rosters, etc…
Attendance caused me to think more of a centralized Check-In.
Thoughts - mass organized confusion, long lines, adding ppl, [...]

Does Casual Friday mean you only work on casual things? I wish!
printed labels for greeters yesterday. not much to this, there was a small update to perform as 2 ppl neeeded to be removed from the list. yeah, printed labels, not directly on envelopes. this is something i need to work on getting printed directly [...]

Worked on Blog - a lot
Threw-out a lot of old instructions, papers frm NUGM, etc..
B/c of my almost constant updating of policies/procedures, instructions become obsolete quite often. I wrote instructions not even a year ago, and I know I have to rewrite them now.

invites for All Church Picnic & Vision of Calvary
All Church Picnic -
our annual picnic at the local state park, usually draws 600-800 ppl.
everyone is invited, but we mail invites to certain ppl as reminders
the mailing criteria is:
1)ppl moved frm prospect to member w/i the last year
2)prospects entered w/i the last 2 years that [...]

Mon - normal tasks, completed up to half of contribution envelopes.
the ChMS Blogosphere is very interesting. I have found some very helpful blogs.
Tues - finishing contribution envelopes, still need to enter guest list contacts, process the visit date reports, & guest lists.
The VBS06 data entering really caused me to get behind in my normal data [...]
