We have a group of people who call people who have been absent from SWC, we call them our ‘Pew Callers.’ Before I arrived, the list for the Pew Callers was generated by simply printing out the SWC roster w/ 4 previous weeks of attendance stats on it. In the fall of 2005, I changed the method of generating the list. I created a report that found only the people who have been absent from SWC 3 out of the past 4 weeks. It reduced the printng from approx 110 pages to approx 50 pages! Now, I am combining SWC organization w/ Contributions & SS / RACE attendance. The report now finds those people absent from SWC and Contributions and SS / RACE 3 out of the past 4 weeks. I processed the list w/ only SWC and it found 890 people, but then I processed it w/ all 3 and it found 680!! This will find the people who do not sign the pew pad, but give or attend a SS / RACE class. This is a big improvement!
